- Shonda Rimes is a winner! Scandal has emerged as the most exciting show of the season! I was unsure about it when it debuted last spring but the storylines have gotten really good. It also helps that a couple of my co-workers also watch it. It's always nice to have people to talk about your shows with! The only thing is that I know you're supposed to root for Fitz and Liv to be together but c'mon....can someone put their responsibilities and duties above their passion and love for once? That would be something different to see on TV!
- Not only is Shonda Rimes doing well with Scandal, I'm still really enjoying Grey's Anatomy. After so many seasons, I still love the characters, I still laugh and I still cry. What more could you ask for? :)
- My favs from last season, Once Upon a Time and Revenge are suffering from a sophomore slump. Once had a couple of really good episodes but the others had been kind of mediocre. I'm not totally caught up on Revenge but the storylines have been getting out of control. The thing that annoy about both these shows is that the villain they've set up in the first season has become so beloved by fans that they're trying to give them a softer side - which means they've had to bring in someone or something else to be the bigger villain. Lame.
- Of all the new shows I checked out this fall, I've only kept two - The Mindy Project and The Neighbors. I've really enjoyed Mindy Kaling's character but the rest of the cast is pretty amusing as well. The Neighbors is up and down but I really like the woman who plays Jackie Joyner-Kersee. She is hilarious!
Overall, the season is not quite as exciting as last year but hopefully things will pick up a bit next year. I'm looking forward to a polished up Smash!
